Academic Requirements:

The academic requirements for admission in Sweden international universities in each study course and level are different from the other. The Swedish Universities have also specific admission eligibility criteria which vary from the others. The Swedish University at which you apply for admission will have its own set of instructions for the applicants in regard to merit, subjects, and language proficiency level. In general, the admission requirements at Swedish Universities for undergraduate and postgraduate applicants are as follows;

For Admissions in Undergraduate Study Programme

The students must have completed a higher secondary school degree or equivalent certificate. They must be able to prove their proficiency in the English language. The students must have completed equivalent Swedish Mathematics Courses in their home country I-e 1a, 1b, or 1c which means they have studied the subject of mathematics for 10 years. Except these, each study programme has specific subject-wise requirements which must be fulfilled by the students at the time of submitting an application. Some study courses may require higher grades in mathematics and science subjects for admission acceptance and some might not.

For Admissions in Graduate Study Programme

Each study programme in Swedish university will have specific grade requirements for the merit of admission and some requirements might include taking entry tests but not for all study courses. It is best to check the study programme admission requirements if your selected Swedish university is to assess its merit. The subjects you studied at the bachelor's and master's levels must be relevant to the Ph.D. course you are applying for in Sweden. Your professors' thesis and recommendation letters are required.

IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge English language proficiency tests are mandatory requirements for admissions to Swedish universities for Pakistani students.

Required Documents for Study Visa

  • Approval letter from a Swedish university. (The tuition fee is 680,000 Pak rupees per semester)
  • At least 6.0 to 7.0 Bands IELTS score.
  • Fill out the visa form (Form NO105031)
  • Getting the visa fee
  • 2 photos of Passport Sized with a light blue background.
  • Original passport and original CNIC.
  • Copies of the first two pages of the passport and two copies of CNIC.
  • Blood relatives (father, mother, sister, brother, great-mother, grandfather) bank statements.

You will need to pass a visa interview, after submitting your application.
